No one at Canis Minor or any other reputable company will ever ask for a social security number and there is no need to ever supply such information. Credit card transactions are processed through our secure server. A secure server can be identified by the presence of a lock icon where the url address appears on your browser. Again, any reputable company doing business on the internet should provide this for their customers.

When an order is placed at Canis Minor using a credit card, it is processed using industry standard SSL encryption software. This means that the credit card information is scrambled prior to being transferred. Therefore, it cannot be deciphered over the internet. To protect our customers, you are given the option of signing up for an account with us. This means that your credit card information would be secured in our system without the need for reentering. Customers can simply choose a password and eliminate the time and effort of entering all their personal information again.

Newsletter

Our newsletter is sent typically on a monthly basis and is meant to provide our customers with sale information, new items, and home decor tips. If at anytime you wish to be removed from the newsletter, there is an option to unsubscribe right on the newsletter itself. The newsletter is sent as a customer service and certainly not meant as inconvenience.
